OMG. It has been soooooo long since I last tweeted! I just haven't found or made the time for sharing online. Shame on me! I have multiple new projects in the works and will have much to share in the coming months!
@howlingmeta @doctorow@BiancoDario I simply do not agree that there is anything inherently “unjust” about Apple operating an app store on their terms for a product they designed and brought to market. Do I think IP laws need reform? Yes. I also think it is absurd to infer the right to an alternate store on iOS.
@doctorow@BiancoDario Apple didn’t invent software licensing nor did they write the DMCA, they are operating under the accepted legal norma of the day. Hardly some evil leveraging of the fed to their own dastardly ends as you paint it. 2/2
@doctorow@BiancoDario Again with poor analogies. Apple limits warranty repair to licensed, or “Authorized” partners (read: certified, proven ability, quality control) you are free to use any repair shop you want. Apple reserves the right to void your warranty. 1/2
@doctorow@BiancoDario They sell you the device, they grant you a limited non-exclusive license to use THEIR software when you agree to their terms and conditions. You do not own the operating system. A better analogy may be why cant I buy a Chevy with a Ford or Dodge motor in it?

@bynkii Most teachers care more about educating children than the bs thrown at them, thats a good thing. A damn noble thing deserving of praise rather than scorn imo.
@bynkii Clearly humble isnt your defining characteristic. Lol. I disagree about teachers having to be coders to start teaching code. They just need to be honest with students when they dont know the answer and perhaps offer to research it and encourage the students to research.
@bynkii “A coding program worth a damn”
what does that mean? How do YOU define worth a a damn? Sounds subjective. You think we need a common code national curriculum? What do you think about scratch, logo, Alice?
