A satirical look at a fake film where the cameras should have stopped rolling, but truly never did. Chapter 51 is more amusing if you’ve heard of troubled film shoots. #Chapter51 Chapter 51 (2026)- Making A Film May Be Hazardous To Your Health

Super interesting that The Odyssey is screening only for critics and not influencers. I feel a Critical Drinker video coming in 3…2…1… and that’s the point. Avoid the influencers who already have their minds made up.
@RottenTomatoes I’m concerned about the season finale. Ever since From got an end date, and they had to start answering questions instead of answering them, its been a bit bumpy. I dread this finale for multiple reasons, even as a big fan.
@RussellCrowe is a blast in The Get Out. I’m loving his European accent phase. #TheGetOut The Get Out (2026)- Russell Crowe’s Accent Comes From The Sunken Place

I’m not terribly surprised to see Peacock passed on a second season of Ponies. This is, after all, the same streamer that didn’t see potential in a third season of Poker Face.
I’m at the point where if I see “based on the novel by Colleen Hoover”, my expectations crater. Reminders Of Him (2026)- This Is Your Reminder To Skip This

I’m nervous about the From season finale. I’ve read the rumors online, and they got some Episode 9 stuff right. But, I think the rumors I’ve seen predicting the death of Ellis are mistaking it for the death of Elgin, based on Ep 9. Regardless of rumors, I’ve been expecting that Golem to come to life. And if rumors hold, From is about to pull a Walking Dead on us. It didn’t work for Walking Dead, and it’ll just piss off From fans. The writers eliminated their chance to take out Donna this season with her fake out death, much like TWD did with Glenn. The whiplash was why so many people left TWD, because that was where Glenn dies in the comic. it wasn’t that Glenn died, it was how the producers treated it. From is doing the same with Donna.
I updated my Oscar Best Picture picks for Father’s Day. I’m trying to expect the unexpected.
#1- The Odyssey (Universal)
#2- Digger (Warner Bros)
#3- Wild Horse Nine (Searchlight)
#4- Project Hail Mary (Amazon/MGM)
#5- Obsession (Focus)
#6- Fjord (Neon)
#7- The Black Ball (Netflix)
#8- Being Human (Apple)
#9- The Riders (A24)
#10- The Only Living Pickpocket In New York (SPC)
That last one may be a surprise, but John Tuturro in a lead actor campaign from SPC, who got Blue Moon more nominations last year than expected, doesn’t really have a stronger. Contender. This could very well be a conversation about it being his time. The Ridders is Brad Pitt with Edward Burger directing, opening in December. And I believe in Being Human, based on the story. That means I left off extra international titles, Dune 3, and The Social Reckoning.
A wonderful, emotional drama in time for Father’s Day, whose biggest barrier is a lack of accessibility… for a film platforming disability. Weird. #ColorBook#FathersDayMoviesColor Book (2026)- A Festival Darling Finally Hits Netflix For Father’s Day

Honestly, probably the only actors who should work with Uwe are the ones who no one else will hire. I fully endorse a Uwe Boll film with armie Hammer, Kevin Spacey, James Franco, Shia LaBeouf, Amber Heard, and whoever else in some kind of ironic Expendables. Or, better yet, maybe Uwe has another videogame adaptation in him?
