Suzanne Roberts from @MacularService has joined to talk about the emotional impact of a diagnosis. The Society provides specialist emotional support through telephone counselling, helping around 600 people each year.
It’s 6am and in just over 2 hours I set off with my sister on the first leg of our 100k trek for @MacularSociety in the past 3 months I’ve walked equal to London to Glasgow in training miles, but now it’s time for the big one.
