So glad to see that this teen is able to challenge this ban, a ban that is not based on any scientific or medical evidence. It is a ban based on ideology and is political. No politician should ever be allowed to ban healthcare like what has happened to transgender youth.

"AUKUS is designed to bill the Australian taxpayers and enrich the US military industrial complex. You have been had Australia, sorry to tell you. And your politicians should own up it."

Today the melanoma community mourns the loss of Professor Richard Scolyer, AO, a pioneering melanoma pathologist, visionary researcher, and dedicated champion for patients.
Dr. Scolyer, one of the world’s foremost melanoma pathologists and global leader in bridging laboratory science with patient care, transformed how melanoma is diagnosed and staged and helped set international standards that assist how clinicians care for patients around the globe.
MRA was honored to support Dr. Scolyer and his team at the Melanoma Institute Australia through a 2020 Team Science Award focused on improving outcomes for patients with high-risk in-transit melanoma. Their work generated important insights into treatment resistance, predictive biomarkers, and personalized treatment strategies.
After his own glioblastoma diagnosis, Dr. Scolyer remained dedicated to advancing science, courageously helping to pioneer new treatment approaches that may benefit future patients.
We extend our deepest condolences to Dr. Scolyer's family, friends, colleagues, and the entire Melanoma Institute Australia community. MRA is proud to have been part of his remarkable journey and will continue to honor his legacy by supporting the bold, collaborative research he championed throughout his career.
Dr. Monique Ryan on the reality of the Liberals today, Tony Abbott “pulling the strings” with Angus Taylor “obeying his dictates”💥
Dr. Ryan says if you’re supporting the Liberal Party in 2026, what you’re supporting is Tony Abbott, the “Temu Trump.” 🔥 #auspol
What a beautiful, stunning, brilliant example of a human.
He spent most of his life trying to make others' lives, and the world, better.
The world is a better place for him being here
Travel well, good sir

Goodbye my friend. No one braver, more courageous or more joyous. I was so lucky to know you.
Thank you for everything. For the lives you saved, for the people you inspired, and for raging against the dying of the light ❤️
Vale Richard.
I am deeply saddened to lose such a cherished colleague. Richard was a truly extraordinary pathologist - the 'pathologists' pathologist' - who also made generous time for clinicians navigating complex diagnostic cases, understanding that an accurate tissue diagnosis was critical to patient care. His knowledge was vast, his skill exceptional, with an unparalleled eye for accurate tissue diagnoses, and the precision to apply decades of experience where it mattered most.
He shared his expertise widely: through consultation on external specimens, through diagnostic and classification frameworks now used worldwide, and as a devoted teacher and mentor. Richard has left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
My thoughts are with Richard's family during this difficult time, particularly his wife Katie and children Emily, Matthew, and Lucy.

This is excellent.
Problematic Pickering "also perfectly embodied everything rotten about Australia’s legacy comedy scene: comfortable, captured, terminally unfunny and full of lame opinions that ridicule genuine champions of the people while kissing the boot of our masters."
Grace Tame is a bloody legend. 🔥💕
“Charlie Pickering made a direct choice to cosy up to a man found guilty of abusing his wife, while denouncing me as ignorant. Surely I needn’t point out the irony here.”

Two yachts have run aground at Ballina and Byron Bay recently and are both still stuck there, but last night Markus Pache 📷 took this shot of the one stuck at Flat Rock, East Ballina. Captures the dark emu at the perfect angle !
@JonesHowDareYou Oh I beg to differ.
Not a single Australian *anglo-white* comedian.
There's plenty of Aussie talent out there knocking Israel off its pillar
My man, @nazeem_hussain has been hilariously and consistently brutal

Gotta love Grace Tame’s response to Charlie Pickering’s attack, well said & all correct.

Albanese on Tony Abbott being brought back as Liberal Party president: "At least when they brought back the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park, they chose ones that were successful."
Gold.

Bit of a pattern developing around Grace Tame. Powerful white Establishment men attack her using code words like "difficult" and "problematic", then run for cover when there's pushback and plead they've been misunderstood.
I still remember teachers moving sofas(!), lamps for "soft lighting", bouncy ball "chairs", pretty rugs, etc into their classrooms to "improve learning" at the large middle school where I taught. As if . . .🤨
I also remember being taught these ridiculous ideas in my teacher prep program. No mention of direct, explicit instruction--but hey, make your classrooms feel like a living room! That'll work!
