Iran chose to move it to Tijuana for fear of some members of their team/staff not being granted visas (or something like that) due to the active conflict between Iran and the US.

Do all the other teams stay overnight? Tijuana is also only a 2 hr drive from LA where Iran played 2/3 games. Technically they had a pretty light travel schedule
