I had no idea there were such things as invasive grey squirrels in Europe (but not surprising) or squirrel pox!

Red Squirrels inhabit coniferous and deciduous forests, but in places like the UK they have been pushed out of the deciduous forests by invasive grey squirrels from North America. Grey squirrels also pass on fatal Squirrel Pox to Red Squirrels. #2021MMM

@EveRosenfeld Husband and I were both grad students when we met and combined income was still barely enough to live off. Couldn't apply for federal aid programs because it would hurt his chances at applying for permanent residency in US (he's international)
