President Trump pointed to the stock market as a measure of U.S. economic health.
According to the Federal Reserve, more than half of all stock is held by the wealthiest 1% of the country, while the bottom 90% of the population holds less than 13%.

The only "success" Donald Trump seems to be running on is inheriting the Obama-Biden economy and largely managing not to mess it up until his fourth year.
"Whiteness is always positioned as the hero or victim but never the villain." - Kim Crayton. Thankful for her perspective on where white people need to start (with learning actual history and her recommendation: Season 2 "Seeing White" of Scene On Radio's podcast.

I walked 6 mi w/big, diverse, peaceful #BLM march, well-run by Tenelle Viera, 27, Brooklyn makeup artist & world traveler, for Breeona Taylor. Cheers on every block, from old/young, black/white, in Crown Heights, BedStuy, Williamsburg.

Great to see the press sharing the reality of all the peaceful protests too. I was next to her for this pic. Proud of how my neighborhood showed up tonight. On every block. Leaning on horns & out windows & in doorways if they couldn’t join us in the streets.
Super-well-run Brooklyn demo walked 3.5 hrs, 5-6mi, from Crown Heights to Greenpoint & back down to Domino Park in Williamsburg where rally still on. All the way, marchers got cheers from residents on every block.
Good luck, America.
