Here at MFW we are terminally disgusted by Anthony Albanese’s new appointment of a woman who’s until very recently been employed by Rupert Murdoch to one of this country’s most prestigious foreign postings.
Yes, you read that right, witches.
Siobhan McKenna (until late last year apparently Lachlan Murdoch’s most senior and important right-hand woman) has just been announced as Australia’s next consul-general in New York:
“Albanese, who has maintained a close relationship with the younger Murdoch, defended the appointment as an ‘outstanding’ merit-based choice, after questions from journalists, pointing to McKenna’s experience across the private and public sectors. ‘Siobhan McKenna is a professional, and she will do an outstanding job representing Australia and the Australian government here in New York’ Albanese said.”

In a week where at least 3 more Australian women appear to have been murdered by a man known to them in a cycle of violence towards women (and their children) which shows no signs of easing, Albanese’s repeated sucking-up to Murdoch (a man who’s viciously and knowingly prevented women’s rights from advancing in this country for decades) is depraved.
Like many witches, MFW had high hopes for this government when it was elected in 2022. We even somewhat forgave Albanese for not moving faster with much-needed reforms during his first term of government, as we knew he was sensitive to media criticism and unsure whether his government would last longer than one term.
However, having been re-elected with an increased majority in 2025, Albanese and his ministers had a clear mandate to achieve desperately needed reforms. Yet not only did he not do these things (including essential media reform itself), but he’s now gone backwards on so many issues of great importance to progressive voters. We deplore his rabid support of Donald Trump and AUKUS. We can’t bear his refusal to fully condemn and fight the genocide in Palestine. We’re horrified by his unwillingness to act properly on Robodebt or the NACC (an anti-corruption commission which is itself corrupt) and we have watched on while he gave misogynist bully and abuser Kyle Sandilands his full support: even eagerly attending his wedding.
We have been careful in our criticism of this Labor government in the past, witches, as we understand there’s a danger that bagging Albanese may send some voters towards the LNP or ONP, whose election would of course be even worse than the incumbents. However, it’s impossible to be silent any longer in the face of Labor’s inaction in the face of the slaughter of tens of thousands of children, as well as their craven pandering to corporate and media interests instead of to the citizens they’re meant to serve.
Our conclusion is that Anthony Albanese is a weak leader. There is some decency and wish to do good ion him, of course (or at least, more than there is in Taylor or Hanson), but it’s now almost fully buried under his greater wish not to rock the boat in any way. And while we’re sure both he and many witches will have excuses for both his weakness and his complicity in great harm, we fail to understand why other leaders (including Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez, Canadian PM Mark Carney, New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani and even Irish PM Micheál Martin) have stood up to Trump and publicly condemned genocide without apparent harm to their leadership (in fact, for many of them it’s increasing their popularity), while Albanese continues to disappoint and anger millions (and not just those who are conservatives, cookers and fascists).

How the fuck do we live in a world where just 24 hours ago we were told by experts AI has a ~10% chance of destroying all humans within ~10 years and the media reports this as if it’s merely a fun anecdote instead of the biggest fucking story to hit the airwaves for many decades?

Another scalp
For being disrespectful to an ideology, and endorsing a Cathy Wilcox cartoon.
Off with his head I say!
In all seriousness, Zionists are doing their own cause far more damage than all critics of Zionism together could possibly do.
AGAIN: I implore diplomats and UN personnel present in Palestine, conscientious Israelis, and anyone who can, to go to the West Bank and to peacefully be there, where Palestinian communities are.
Protective presence is absolutely needed.
This is outrageous. What Royal Commission allows special interests to lobby commissioner in private meetings! ‘Bolstering’ the Zioinist case without any criticism of what is put forward
Regardless of whether or not you think it’s a good thing to further expand the presence of long-term foreign military bases in Australia, it is crazy that our own Parliament (or the public) has no say in this ongoing surrender of our nation’s sovereignty

A must read. Israel’s vicious, carefully planned, ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people. From that great Israeli newspaper Haaretz. A cry of rage and anger that no Australian newspaper would have the guts to run.
Has our Royal Commission commissioner seen this filth
Don’t dare accuse Australians of antisemitism when we see the horror of Israel and dare to criticise it!!
Doug Sosnik: "In data centers and AI is the coming together in one place of all the forces that have driven the anger in America: People with money and power are doing what they want to do; other people are paying; the fear of AI and loss of jobs...This is like a freight train."
How many Lebanese-Australians with displaced and terrified family that have suffered at the hands of the IDF?
How many Palestinian-Australians whose family are dead and dying in Gaza?
How many Australians, the majority of whom abhor Israel and its terrorist army, the IDF?
Minns is kicking all of us in the guts for his Zionist mates and his Zionist career after politics.
The Israeli army is setting fires in southern Lebanon. Here you can see fires in Hadatha, Haris and Aita Jabal. It was reported to me that Israeli forces have opened fire close to civil defense workers trying to extinguish the flames in Haris.

Hundreds of wealthy private schools stripped of millions in NDIS funding after govt audits reveal fraud. No mention in most headlines that these are Christian schools committing this fraud. #auspol#NDIS#education#religion
Finally, witches, we have a final figure on how much our #VileKyle campaign cost ARN after their stupid decision to refuse to get rid of Sandipants in 2024: $55 million.
FIFTY-FIVE MILLION DOLLARS.
That, dear witches, is the cost of ignoring witches when they’re determined, organised and ragey.
And that, dear witches, is a shot in the eye to all those who’ve insisted it wasn’t the witches who spelled Kyle’s exit ‘cos how could a pack of sweary women cause so much havoc? Instead they blamed Melbourne’s ratings (barely a factor, if any) or ACMA (did less than nothing) or Kyle and Jackie’s on-air stoush (yes, did finally spell the end but was almost certainly *caused* by ARN seizing their chance to get rid of him after our firmly telling the company just two days before Jackie fled we wanted serious interventions, and Kyle was thus endlessly shitty about being forced by management to capitulate).
Nope. CEO Michael Stephenson said it himself in words of very few syllables at the company’s results reporting:
“Over the past 18 months, a pressure campaign by activist group Mad F---king Witches prompted hundreds of companies to pull their advertising from ARN, especially Kiis FM. At the company’s half-year results on Friday, Stephenson revealed the full extent of the damage that the campaign, prompted by Sandilands’ lewd and overly sexual comments, had done. … ‘The reason we’ve lost that revenue is because of brand safety’.”
https://t.co/WxTe7jOdIB
“Brand Safety”, witches.
Those two words hide aaaaallll the endless work witches did. But they explain how a large collective of clever women (and men) could obtain the result they fought so hard for.
Fifty-five million dollars, witches (which doesn’t even count what we also cost Channel 7).
The cost of male entitlement and misogyny plus despicable hubris, a punch-down profit business plan and a “star” who hoodwinked his bosses into a contract so perverse they nearly destroyed the company finagling their way out.
Fifty-five million smackeroos.
Was it worth the fight?
You fucking betcha it was.

The National Anti-corruption Commission or NACC has failed again covering up and whitewashing more government crime. Hàs there ever been a more pro corruption, ineffectual, useless body set up by the government in the history of Australia? https://t.co/AX7rIti1Fk
