Copyright law is not complicated at all. If you want to use an author's work you need to ask for permission. If you use it without permission you're breaking the law. It's so simple. It'll be incredibly difficult for us, and for other affected industries, to take on Meta, but we'll have a good go!

Question for my indie author friends... what motivates you to keep going? The words? The reads? The awards? Why do you keep writing? I want to know, and no answer is too big or too small.
@writingwithreed I was indie publishing for 5 years and what kept me going was always the idea of development. I was learning how to write, how to edit, how to design a book cover and market. I felt like I was building something, and that felt really good. And of course, it was the writing.

@mredwards He was actually a little difficult, totally uncontrollable and a leaver of many scars! But he was also the most loving and sweet boy, and most of all he knew I was his person. I’m so sorry for your loss, Mark x
