Oh wow a false alarm imagine a 9.9 magnitude over the waters away from Japan?! It would’ve been 100 times worse than 2011 and California would’ve had more tsunami warnings the rest of the coast and Bay Area than 2011. I would’ve been frightened if I were still living in Hayward!

Many people got very scary warnings on their phones indicating levels of shaking that would have been devastating.
