I can’t control the things that happen to me each day, but I can control how I think about them.
I can feel afraid but I don't have to live afraid.
I can feel angry but I don't have to live angry.
I can feel hurt but I don't have to live hurt.
It's my choice.
It’s hard when a string of good days suddenly gives way to an unexpected emotional crash.
But I’ve discovered those days don’t have to be setbacks. They can be evidence you’re moving through the hardest parts of healing.
Don’t give up. There’s a beautiful remaking in process.
If we grasp the full love of Christ, we won’t grab at other things to fill us.
We may not always FEEL full. But we ARE full, because Christ has brought the fullness to us.
Yes. We are fully loved, fully accepted, and fully empowered to say no to our flesh.
When I obsess over things out of my control, it makes me act out of control. A much better place to park my mind is to look for God's protection, provision, and lessons on perseverance in the midst of whatever I'm facing.
What you’re seeing around you right now isn’t the whole story. Don’t feel like if things didn’t work out today, that God’s not working.
Keep pressing on. Keep believing God. Keep trusting that His way is the best way.
