@BeckyTheChicken I had a moment like this! My SIL’s bday was the month before her due date and I got her a nice big insulated water bottle cause I figured she’d like to use it during labor. Hubby told me she wouldn’t touch it. Pictures were posted from the hospital and it was on the table by her!

@ImperialGen11 agreed but it’s also a regional thing. you will always find this in the south but as someone from the south, when i visited cape cod for my honeymoon it was a culture shock at how uncaring almost everyone was! nothing like the south honestly.
