@ButtonConf so sad this is happening at the same time as @pendoio’s pendomonium 💔

I am once again reminding you to include Content Designers on your design panels.

PSA:

You need to stop telling laid off moms to enjoy the extra time at home with their babies.

It’s seriously fucked up on so many levels.

You know what could really benefit from some UX improvements? Amber alerts.

Everyone gets an alert sent to their phone but with such limited information. Why can’t you tap on the notification and get more info??

Even just adding a picture of the missing kid would be so helpful.

If you ever need proof that Content Design is important...

Apparently Google *collections* are the same as Google *lists* in Google Maps... So I deleted several years worth of recipes that are apparently unable to be recovered.

What the actual fck @Google?? How are users supposed to make this connection?? Use consistent labels. Please.

[maddy snyder @maddinfinitum]

Can we talk about Google collections for a minute and the terribly misleading UX when it’s connected to Maps?

[maddy snyder @maddinfinitum]

A few weeks ago, I was cleaning up my “lists” in Google Maps because several of them had no saved locations and I was confused why they were there. One of these was “Recipes”.

Fast forward to today where I wanted to find one a recipe in one of my Google “collections”…

My husband’s Gmail account password was apparently changed (not by him!) four hours ago.

All help resources point to account recovery, which REQUIRES YOU TO SIGN IN.

Make it make sense @Google. How can he sign in to his email after he’s been hacked?? How can he get support??

I admittedly live in a bubble along with content designers and strategists, but who are these designers who still think of content as an afterthought to visual design? Exactly what are they designing without it?

Dear tech startups, saying money shouldn’t be the main motivation for a candidate, while raising millions in funding, is the biggest dichotomy of what’s said vs what’s being done.

As long as housing, food and water cost money, money matters.
I can be passionate AND want money.
