SNL story time!!
first off, i want to thank Ariana for being the kindest person a fan could ever look up to. i don’t have the words to express how truly thoughtful and gracious she is. i also want to mention the amazing staff and pages at NBC for letting this happen and being so considerate with us.
my friend cassie won the lottery for the dress rehearsal of the show. we didn’t know we were going to be on the floor (let alone front row) until we got there because those people are hand picked upon arrival. right before Ari was going to announce Cher’s first performance, she looked at me and said “i know u! we met!” we were a couple feet away from each other so we kinda had to mouth words to each other and use our hands to talk 😭 i put up a hand heart (🫶) to her and she did it back 🥹 a little later, before the espresso martini sketch, she came down from the stage to ask me my name. a couple minutes later, an NBC page (whom we were with the whole night, she was so kind and welcoming) came up to us to ask for our names. we had no idea what this was for so for the rest of the dress rehearsal we were freaking out 😭
the rest of the show Ari would smile and wave at us, as well as the rest of the crowd/crew, as much as she could (i really can’t emphasize enough how truly caring she is) the show ended and we were walking out the hallway when another kind staff member pulled us aside and said “how would u guys want to stay for the live show?“
Every wedding has some. THE DRAMA, a new comedy from Kristoffer Borgli starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, opens in theaters April 3. Save the date.
