सरकार बार-बार कह चुकी है कि पिटबुल जैसी खतरनाक नस्ल पालतू न रखें। फिर भी लोग रखते हैं। और जब कोई मासूम लहूलुहान होता है तो वही पुराने बहाने — “कुत्ता भूखा था”, “कुछ ट्रिगर हुआ”, “नस्ल की गलती नहीं, मालिक की है”।
गलती मालिक की भी है, नस्ल की भी है। ऐसे कुत्तों को रिहायशी इलाकों में पालना लापरवाही नहीं, अपराध है।

मालिक पर सख्त कार्रवाई हो और खतरनाक नस्लों पर सख्त पाबंदी लगे। एक मासूम की जिंदगी से खिलवाड़ बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जा सकता।

From singing in trains to being heard in theatres.

Meet Sunil Lodhi. Born visually impaired and coming from a very ordinary family, Sunil spent years singing bhajans, often with a tambura, at village gatherings and local programmes.

There was a time when he would sing bhajans in trains to make a living.

But then, one simple recording changed everything. His Hanuman bhajan went viral on social media. The voice that had been heard in villages and trains suddenly reached millions of people.

That viral recording caught the attention of music producer Pankaj VRK, who tracked Sunil down and brought him to Mumbai. At a studio there, Sunil recorded several songs.

One of those recordings, “Maine Tere Hi Bharose Hanuman,” became part of the film Hanuman Ansh, taking Sunil’s voice from village gatherings to the big screen.

The film itself has gone on to become a surprising box-office success. But perhaps the most beautiful part of Sunil Lodhi’s story is not only the box-office numbers. It is also his journey.

A man who could not see the world with his eyes kept making the world listen to him through his voice.

From a tambura in a small village… to singing in trains… to a viral bhajan… to a Mumbai recording studio… and finally, to thousands of cinema screens.

His success feels personal.
