India has finally put its counter-terror doctrine in writing. PRAHAAR is not a slogan. It’s the country saying, in black and white: zero tolerance, prevention-first, and a response posture that is swift and proportionate. This matters because terrorism is not an “incident” anymore; it’s an ecosystem trying to harm INDIA everyday.
The threat profile is blunt and modern: state-sponsored terror from across the border, global jihad networks, sleeper cells, organised-crime linkages, drones, encrypted messaging, dark web infrastructure and crypto funding. It even flags CBRNED risks (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, explosive, digital) and the misuse of robotics and cyber tools.
The spine of PRAHAAR is intelligence-guided prevention. MAC and JTFI are positioned as the real-time national nervous system, so state police and central agencies don’t operate in silos. The emphasis is clear: disrupt OGW networks, choke funding, kill propaganda and recruitment pipelines online before they become body counts.
The message is simple: India will be hard and will have zero tolerance, but India will be lawful and systematic. That’s what serious global leaders and nations do.

#Remembering1962#LestWeForgetIndia🇮🇳 the valour & supreme sacrifice of all the gallant #IndianBraves who stood their ground at Namka Chu.
The Braves who didn't retreat, and fell where they fought #OnThisDay 20 October in 1962 🏵️
#25YearsofKargilVijay …#VijayYaVeergati .. All eyes were fixed on Tiger Hill. We carried out mandir parade (In Pic) before moving out for battle of #TigerHill. As the Commanding Officer, I felt the enormity of our mission in every fiber of my being. My pep talk to the unit was "God has given us this chance to avenge our brothers lost in the Battle of Tololing and etch the name of #18GRENADIERS into history. This the biggest test of our collective lives. As a battalion, we carry the weight of an entire nation's expectations. Today its Vijay ya Veergati.”
Fueled by this purpose, the battalion forged ahead, meticulously strengthening our administrative and logistical setup with the invaluable assistance of local porters and ponies. Amid this buildup, a civilian porter was injured by enemy artillery fire—a grim reminder of the ferocious battle that awaited us.
Despite the looming challenges, our resolve remained unbreakable. We were prepared to confront whatever lay ahead, driven by a deep sense of duty, honour, and the memory of our fallen comrades. The road was daunting, but our spirit was indomitable. We were ready to carve our legacy into the annals of history, no matter the cost, It was either Vijay ya Veergati

#25YearsofKargilVijay …On 16 Jun 1999, Paltan came down to Bimbat Adm Base and then moved to Meena Marg for rest and refit. We took bath and shaved after almost 25 days.
Today on personal note , was time for me to share the tales of bravery with the families of my soldiers who laid down their lives in Tololing. As I spoke to each one of their families, it was very emotional and poignant experience for me. I also spoke to my injured men who were admitted in various hospitals and boosted their morale.
Paltan was joined by Lt.Col DVS Panghal (seated on right in pic) as new Second- in- Command cutting short his Rashtriya Rifles tenure in place of Late Lt.Col R Vishwanathan who gave supreme sacrifice of his life during the assault on Tololing. I would like to commend Capt Sunil Yadav,RMO (Left in pic)of the unit who in the line of fire tended to all the injured putting his life in danger and saved many lives. I wholeheartedly also acknowledge the efforts of Maj Rajeev Kumar to keep the logistics support going round the clock which ultimately proved to be game changer for the morale of men.
It was a day of reflection of the events of the last 30 days and nights spent under fire. What we lost and gained with such heavy sacrifices. We are proud to have added new pages to the glorious saga of sacrifice and bravery of the Indian Army. I salute each of my Bravehearts with deepest and most sincere gratitude, it is because of them we can boast of the Glory today.
Though we got well deserved rest after long time but it was also time to plan for next onerous task and prepare in right earnest.
Time to look ahead and carry forward the hard earned lessons of Tololing.... #JaiHind

This was Shani Louk.
Shani was tortured, raped, and beaten before being murdered and dragged round the streets half-naked.
They broke her legs. They shot her in the head. All because she was Jewish.
You either stand with Israel or with this savagery.
