6+ hours just to complete an engineering admission! Without food And water amd seating facilities.

Why should a student and parent have to stand in a crowd for 6+ hours to complete an admission process — especially at a college that is supposed to produce future engineers?

Students arrived as early as 9 AM, and many are still waiting. After hours of waiting, we are now being told the server is down and asked to come back tomorrow.

The number of students and the admission window are known in advance. This is not an unexpected situation. Where is the planning, crowd management, adequate counters, IT infrastructure and backup system?

We are not asking for an extended deadline. We are questioning the efficiency and preparedness of the admission management itself.

If this is how a reputed engineering institution handles a predictable admission rush, what does it say about the importance given to students' and parents' time?

The Commissioner of Food Safety Hyderabad raided the well known outlets, The Rameshwaram Cafe, Baskin Robbins, Karachi Bakery, Taco Bell, KFC, Hard Rock Cafe, and Starbucks Coffee. Here’s what they found:
The Rameshwaram Cafe:
- 100 kg of Urad Dal, worth Rs. 16,000, expired in March 2024.
- Expired Nandini Curd (10 kg) and Milk (8 L), worth Rs. 700.
- Improperly labelled raw rice (450 kg) , white lobia (20 kg),Unlabelled jaggery (300 kg), with no medical fitness certificates.
- Dustbins were not properly covered.

Interestingly, all these outlets have 4+ ratings on Swiggy and Zomato with fancy, clean pictures. During the inspection, a few outlets were found storing vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods together in the refrigerator.

Some outlets, like Bahubali Kitchen, had cockroach infestations, unhygienic conditions, and water stagnation in the cleaning area. Additionally, yeast-infected carrots were found at Clove Vegetarian Fine Dine.
