Great to put on the Tortoise and the Hare Challenge again this weekend after a 2 year hiatus. Trying to complete 2 laps of the Exeter Green Circle before the Scouts could finish 1! At just over 12.5 miles and 970 feet or ascent per lap, not an easy course ๐ฅต
Marathon 23 at yesterday's Exmouth New Year's day Bell Challenge. 4:42:14. Thought plenty of runners would dress up for new year's Day, nope, just me ๐
Bib number 1 for @JollyRuns Escot Christmas Marathon ๐ A tough course but enjoyed (nearly) every minute of it! How often do you get the chance to slide your way to the finish in a marathon?! Marathon 22 bagged and time to start planning 2022.

Exeter Marathon rounds off 4 marathons in 4 weeks and number 21 over all. Great to be back under 4:30 for first time since pre-pandemic with a time of 4:27. A great race put on by @ExeterCCT#MedalMonday@swrr_exeter@runners_blue
Was looking good for sub 4:30 til 20 mile mark, and then last weeks ultra caught up with me and beat me senseless with a sledge hammer. Absolutely brutal last 6 miles but managed to drag myself across the line for a time of 4:53 and marathon 19 is in the books. @NewportWales262
After a frustrating 2 years of postponed events, marathon number 17 is finally logged. Starcross Shuffle (and it was a shuffle by the end!) In 4hrs55
Would have preferred bib 999 but I'll settle for 101 ๐ฎโโ๏ธ ๐ #MedalMonday@runners_blue@swrr_exeter
