I haven’t really seen this yet, but another privacy measure to consider during this time is to switch to a menstrual cup. Since it’s a one-time, 5 year purchase vs a monthly purchase, people tracking your spending can’t use menstrual products as a reliable way to track you.
I am telling you right now that if I see you funneling donations toward Planned Parenthood or NARAL in this moment, I am cussing you the fuck out. Support your local abortion funds or get the fuck out of the way. We have work to do.
@MariaConLaH I think because of HR laws, but I personally think it’s because it’s a nonprofit, they do it to reduce overhead when they can. Slicing off 6 hrs a pay period/every hourly employee has got to be real cost savings, and finders care a lot about that overhead/program cost ratio.
I was really upset that homeless people did not have access to the $1,400 stimulus check.
I just found this out. If you are homeless, you can go to a tax return office where they will file something called EIP return. They will put the money on a debit card after.
Retweet.!
We're hearing some people are describing the far-Right actions in DC as those of "anarchists". It's nonsense.
Our org is not exclusively anarchist. But if you need a lucid introduction to what anarchists stand for, here's a classic text. (via @libcomorg)

I honestly find this to be the sequel to that study about trickle down policies. Breaking news: giving poor people money helps them not be poor. Giving rich people money helps poor people stay poor.
I've been telling friends this a lot lately, but if you're thinking of comissioning art, please consider commissioning South American artists too. A lot of our currencies are devalued right now, so a small comission paid in dollars could literally help make someone's Christmas.
