Every "teach your kids to code" resource assumes your kid can read.
Mine's 3. So I wrote a computational thinking curriculum for pre- and early readers. Unplugged activities, real CS concepts. 12 weeks of building real things together!

@littlebayschool This is the most n=1 kid 😂 It's been harder work for sure, I don't get as many "breaks" where he's just playing on the computer for a bit. But it's been good for us so far
Hotels are businesses subject to the rules of capitalism
Airbnb is subject to capitalism but the airbnbs essentially compete on who can make the best Instagram post
If you choose airbnbs you are choosing to be at the mercy of the average population most of the time
That's terrifying and it should be
I set up a new MacBook and only touched Settings once, to enable Codex Computer Use.
Codex installed every app I needed from email client to Stream Deck, set up all my accounts (I just punched in my passwords), ssh keys, themed my Kitty with Starship, and stood up @code with great DX settings and a beautiful Catpuccin theme (even got the icons without me asking it to)
What used to take me all day or a bunch of scripting was finished before my second cup of coffee
Anything with programs, settings, anything administrative or fiddly — you should be chatting, not clicking
Any company that's letting their employees set up a work laptop manually is wasting days of dev time
@made_in_cosmos@maiab Personally I just tell my AI what I've got on hand in my fridge and what my general fitness/macronutrient goals are and ask for a days or a week's meal plan plus ideas for my toddler. Works great!
