Being consistent is the opposite of all or nothing thinking!
You don’t have body dysmorphia, you just have insecurities that you thought would go away when you got fit.
And overcoming insecurities is a mental challenge, not a physical one.
What would YOU think if you saw someone who was new to the gym?
So why do you think other people are thinking the exact opposite about you being new in the gym?
We do NOT all have the same 24 hours in a day.
But you do have the ability to make changes in your lifestyle that work for YOU in order to start moving towards your fitness goals.
Unsustainable diets and workout plans can give you temporary results, but will lower your quality of life in the long run.
They are the reason you keep repeating the cycle.
Not men suddenly caring about peoples “health” just because they see a plus sized woman on a billboard?
Yet when they see a plus sized man in the same position… no one flinches
We see all the die hard fitness influencers killing it in the gym with their shredded bodies and yet they still struggle with body dysmorphia.
Almost as if changing the outside can only partially change how you view yourself.
Stop waiting until you’re fit to start enjoying your life.
Wear the clothes
Enjoy the beach
Eat the pasta
Take the pictures
Everything you want to do can and should be done in the body you have RIGHT NOW.
Mindset shift:
❌“I feel so guilty for overeating last night, I was so good all day now all of my progress is ruined”
Vs.
✅“I felt uncomfortable from eating so much last night, I should plan on having a snack in the afternoon so I don’t feel like I’m starving at dinner time”
By thinking that Emrata Getting cheated on means “there’s no hope for the rest of us” you’re co-signing the social narrative that people who fit the beauty standard deserve to be treated better.
