@crulge Talk therapy has never really helped me (extremely mentally ill woman) but…. If my therapist offered to eat a spider., like at least every 3rd session , I think I’d have a breakthrough. I see tremendous merit in that approach
calling a little girl “boy crazy” is the socially acceptable way of calling a child she’s a slut. It’s also a coded word to other parents to shield their little girls from the “sluts” in her grade.
I mean right?
Hearing about how “clean” SF has gotten is really starting to irk me: 1) visible homelessness never made SF “dirty”. it increased awareness which ofc can be distressing. the causes- not the human cost - are what stain a city & 2) why isn’t the talking point WHERE IS THIS COMMUNITY NOW? If conditions in the city are simply improving, great! that feels unlikely though and I just don’t get how you can make a remark like that and not ask what feels like a necessary follow up question
I know some of you may be wondering was my brain damaged from years of drug use? WRONG! ever heard of neural plastics ??? Yeah look it up. Also I’m a carnivore. An unvaccinated carnivore who’s got a beautiful plastic brain. 🛐
any other..ahem..early adopters remember when fent started being sold by name on the streets, ie not m30 pressies, like the nascent of unpressed powder fetty to the masses.. &cartels felt the need to dye it like hot pink or neon green n shit but only sometimes. rly makes u think
@Gothamist can we borrow him? Lurie actually shilled for the "say no to Prop D" campaign-- prop d, aka "the billionaire tax"-- he's the first SF mayor elected to his seat w/o the backing of a SINGLE union.
@ucanjustdostuff@MLNow@miss_elenius if the traffic law was xenophobic, cruel and deeply unjust, then yes you would be under attack by CHP.
missing the forest for the trees here bud
Can a San Francisco meteorological nerd explain why walking on Van Ness from Market past Fell Street legitimately feels like exiting the eye of a mf tornado
the most flamboyantly dressed gay man on the muni (he was wearing a tightly tailored cream colored pin striped suit with matching off-white alligator-skin loafers) just looked at my mary janes and (nearly imperceptibly) shook his head so im currently destroying them
my husbands granddad was a pro baseball player (yes its my flex now) and did u know that sf's baseball stadium was once on 16th and bryant?! A BASEBALL STADIUM IN THE MISSION! what a world
This is what it looked like in 1997 before the ballpark in San Francisco was built.
Eight months later, on December 11, 1997, construction of the ballpark officially began. It opened on April 11, 2000.

So now that these corps are getting refunded (a portion) of the tariffs that they then passed along to consumers, explicitly blaming their inflated prices on said tariffs, I assume they’ll give all that refund money back to the consumers who absorbed their tariff shock. Right
if you needed another reason to say good riddance to outdated zoning laws here's an image to drive home why its so important to build affordable multi-family housing on the west side of our city
s/o to @sfplanning for their invaluable role in promoting just and sound urban planning policy. West-side projects that used to be blocked by single-family zoning, low height limits, and tight density rules now have a path to creation under the new Family Zoning Plan
