@carls_byrd This happened on a fempop patient with me 2 weeks back... got him 4 hours later than expected. He looked at me when he got in my unit and goes, “I can’t breathe too well”. Gets intubated, lost his pulse in the left leg, got an amputation a day later. 🙃

I just took my patient (who hasn’t seen the sun in WEEKS) on a stroll outside because she was stable enough to ride in the wheelchair. My heart is so full😭🌻🌞

@carls_byrd Had a lady with with punctured left atrial appendage that went into DIC. Somehow (God) she pulled through. Extubated in two days. I washed her hair before her family came back and they teared up. From brink of death to washed hair. It’s the little things that make it worthwhile
