AST SpaceMobile $ASTS welcomed the proposed joint venture between AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon to expand satellite-based direct-to-device mobile connectivity across the U.S. The company said the collaboration could accelerate nationwide coverage, reduce dead zones, and support broader adoption of space-based cellular broadband.

ASTS also reiterated its goal of becoming a key infrastructure provider for low Earth orbit mobile connectivity.
