After some criminal work it was time for an introduction to wood searching. The teams have done person searching in a building but this was their first search work outside. TPD Frank certainly enjoyed it.

TPD Milo has had 2 changes of handler and 7 weeks in kennels while we tried to find a new puppy walker for him without success. So he’s missed a lot of training and now he’s living with me & TPD Ronnie. Bite work isn’t going to be a problem

Control work with TPD Milo has been my number 1 priority because his hyper excitable character means sometimes it is difficult for him to concentrate on anything for more than a few seconds. But I am very pleased with how his impulse control is coming along

TPD Frank with Ben practising their down stay. The down stay is the bedrock of a lot of the exercises that we do. Ben is on the September Initial course having passed his dog handler assessment and will be handling TPD Frank who he has puppy walked.
