@DrDeepakKrishn1 Not for the tag. Two months of efforts- a year or two saved from state college bonds and a sizeable stipend that can help first gen doctors. Doesn't matter for rich kids, nepo doctor kids though. They can vacay till counselling
@mehtanikhil sir, 11month old with seizures, eeg localised to right frontotemporal focus, are the FLAIR hyperintensities cortical tubers? Or should I think of FCD with transmantle sign. Pls let me know what you think!
@warikoo At 25, post mbbs, first medico in the family- my college( a private one)didn't pay any stipend during the entire period of internship. That entire period motivated me to do my best to secure a pg seat in a govt college. I was lucky enough to have my elder brothers support.
In oncology we say one size doesn’t fit all, but if there are any drugs that work in almost all cancers, they have to be platinum drugs especially Cisplatin and Carboplatin.
The simplest, effective and cheapest drugs that have no replacement in several cancers are out of stock in most hospitals in India, leaving patients and families to suffer with no treatments even in curable cancers.
The global supply chain has been massively impacted, so are the import rates and manufacturing rates.
While capping prices of drugs is a welcome move, flexibility that is reviewed dynamically is the need of the hour, a 50% rise in capped price of a 200 rupees drug that is life saving should be accommodated as the cost of lives lost is going to be much more.
Request @narendramodi@PMOIndia@JPNadda@MoHFW_INDIA@AmitShahOffice to resolve the situation ASAP
@drsunita02 Men are not raised to be responsible enough. Women in India who aspire to advance in careers are not adequately supported by the father in raising more children.

🚨UPDATE: The doctor involved in this incident is currently fractured and bedridden!
🙏 Sharing the doctor’s version. The version that third-grade, TRP-hungry journalists like @ShivAroor conveniently refuse to show. Journalists who have sold their credibility to peddle shameless, one-sided bullshit and jingoistic noise. Please share with all because no one else will!
➡️ I dare him to share this version and publicly apologise for calling the doctor a thug. If he doesn’t, I will assume this thug journalist is also a coward --> someone who would quietly smile, nod, and say thank you even if a stranger abused his father and mother and then hit him.
---
❌ This DID NOT START with violence from the doctor!
It began with continuous verbal abuse by the patient, including explicit abuse directed at the doctor’s mother and family.
➡️ Despite this, the doctor repeatedly tried to calm the patient down and de-escalate the situation.
✅The doctor has been working here for over 8 years and has treated 5,000–7,000 patients. He clearly states that no patient has ever behaved like this before.
🚨The situation escalated only after the patient:
1. Continued abusing the doctor and his parents
2. Picked up an IV stand and attempted to assault the doctor
3. Pushed the doctor violently, resulting in a fracture of the hand and severe back pain
☠️ After this, the patient called 200–250 people, who entered the ward, created chaos, vandalised hospital property, shouted threats, and turned a hospital into a place of fear.
🚨 Before virtue-signalling from studio chairs and Twitter threads, ask yourself one simple question:
Would you say the same thing if this doctor were you or your brother, your sister, or your parent? If this answer is yes, very sorry to know that the wrong sperm won the competition! 👎🏽
@thekaipullai Valid. But in most countries Indians emigrate to - aren't they actually treated as second class residents no matter what their academic or monetary value is.
@NalinisKitchen And the fact that the ban itself happened after 8 years. Noone cares. Ideally ppl shud be out in the streets calling out this insanity.
Perfectly written! Pls share! Make sure Govt of India brings an order to ensure only WHO recommended formula ORS is available in pharmacies, hospitals, and schools ever! Keep tagging @mohfwindia @narendramodi@jpnaddaoffice@fssai Otherwise, after a couple of years, the same high sugar drinks will again be sold in the pharmacies in a different garb!
Sir, @narendramodi and @jpnaddaoffice@fssai@mohfw, it's a national shame that FSSAI has consented to the request by JNTL(the Indian subsidiary of Kenvue which is a spin off of Johnson and Johnson) for a stay order to dispose of it's stock of high sugar ORSL!
Sir, not only now, in future also, except WHO recommended formula ORS, no sachet or tetrapack should be allowed in the pharmacies(including online), hospitals, and schools, as far as rehydrating medicines are concerned. ORS should never be allowed to be used on the labels except for WHO Recommended Formula ORS even if these liquids are being sold in the supermarkets and quick commerce platforms only! Trusting that you will ensure the October 15th order is implemented with urgency!
