I think X users saw my face and held a board meeting. 😂
I joined X in 2013 with hope in my heart and the Follow button in my hand. Over the years, I followed about 1,500 people.
Guess how many followed me back?
That means over 1,000 people 1/3
Not every opportunity is meant for you. Sometimes what you miss is actually protecting you from something that isn't right. Most times God is redirecting you to something better .
VALUE YOUR HEALTH
Your health is an investment, not an expense. Every healthy meal you choose, every walk you take, every workout you complete, every medical check-up you attend, and every hour of quality sleep you get is an investment in your future.
Many people spend years neglecting their bodies to chase money, only to spend that money later trying to regain the health they lost. Your body keeps the score of how you treat it.
Don't wait until illness forces you to value your health. Take care of yourself while you still have the strength and the choice. Prevention is almost always easier and cheaper than treatment.
Your greatest wealth isn't what's in your bank account; it's having a healthy body and a sound mind to enjoy the life you're working so hard to build.
Nobody owes you success. The life you want is built by your effort, not your excuses. Every choice you make today shapes the future you will live tomorrow.
Harsh Truths About Adulthood
• No one is coming to save you. At some point, you have to become the person you've been waiting for.
• Life isn't always fair. Good people suffer, and bad people sometimes seem to win. Don't let that stop you from doing what's right.
• Bills don't wait because you're tired. Responsibilities don't disappear because you're overwhelmed.
• Not everyone who claps for you wants you to succeed. Be careful who you trust with your dreams.
• Friendships change. Some people are meant for a season, not a lifetime.
• Love alone isn't enough. Relationships also require trust, respect, communication, and commitment.
• Your parents won't be here forever. Spend time with them while you still can.
• Nobody owes you success. Your future depends more on your effort than on your excuses.
• Time is more valuable than money. Money can be earned again; time cannot.
• Your health is an investment, not an expense. Ignore it now, and you'll pay for it later.
• Comparing your life to someone else's will steal your joy. Everyone is fighting a different battle.
• Saying "no" doesn't make you selfish. Protecting your peace is necessary.
• You will make mistakes. Learn from them instead of letting them define you.
• Growth is uncomfortable. If everything feels easy, you're probably not growing.
• The people who truly care about you will show it through consistent actions, not just words.
• Not every opportunity is meant for you. Sometimes what you miss is actually protecting you from something that isn't right.
• Happiness isn't something you stumble upon. It's built through gratitude, purpose, healthy relationships, and daily choices.
• The sooner you accept responsibility for your life, the sooner your life begins to change.
Stop moving like God has forgotten you, He is There and has always been there. God has never abandoned you. Even in silence, He is working behind the scenes.
They met just two weeks ago, but everything happened so fast. The conversations were constant, the connection felt effortless, and the attention made her believe something beautiful was beginning.
Then, without warning, he disappeared.
No calls. No replies. His WhatsApp account was gone. His social media pages could no longer be found. It was as if he had vanished into thin air.
She kept asking herself, "What happened? Did I do something wrong? Why did everything suddenly go blank?"
The truth is, there could be many reasons. He might have been living a double life and needed to disappear before the truth caught up with him. He may have lost interest but lacked the maturity to communicate it.
He could have been using a fake identity from the beginning, saying all the right things just to gain her trust before moving on. Or perhaps he was simply someone who enjoyed the thrill of chasing people but had no intention of building anything real.
Whatever the reason, one thing is certain: disappearing without a word says more about his character than it does about her worth.
Not every connection is meant to last. Sometimes people leave without giving the closure we desperately want. As painful as that is, don't let someone else's silence make you question your value.
The right person won't leave you wondering where they went. They won't make you search for them across social media or question your self-worth. They will communicate, be consistent, and stay.
Sometimes the most painful endings are the ones without an explanation, but even then, healing begins when you stop chasing answers from someone who chose to disappear.
@lawrencekitema Every day is a gift, not a guarantee. Choose kindness, show respect, and leave people better than you found them. That's a life well lived. 🙏❤️
@garyhgoodridge Every great story has chapters of uncertainty, silence, and struggle. The middle often feels confusing because the ending hasn't been revealed yet. Keep showing up, keep growing, and keep believing. The page you're on is not the final chapter.
