An urgent call for international pressure from @Gisha_Access, warning of the possibility of "unspeakable catastrophe" after Israel called for 1.1 million Palestinians to evacuate the northern Gaza Strip.
@SpimRay @DocKimResists They won the game against West Ham. They didn’t win the league, but they still get promoted. There was a scene earlier in the finale with Ted and the diamond dogs discussing how it works. It was a bit confusing for me as an American.
This year y’all are saying masks caused immunity debt & last year you said mask didn’t work to protect against diseases…PICK A SIDE.
Let me tell you what likely happened, the COVID you allowed to run rampant by refusing masks impaired people’s immune system. Children included.
@flippin1999@dysclinic Are you able to document that data at home with a pulse ox or smart watch and blood pressure cuff? Routinely record that data for a week or so and present it (and maybe any patterns?) to a doc. No patient should have to do that much labor at home just to be taken seriously.
@adhdjesse She's gorgeous!
Not sure if someone responded with this to your previous post - make sure your trashcans have lids! Warning: lids can still lead to chaos (but hopefully fewer GI problems).
@BlackFreelance1 I try to reduce ableism @ the dr by wearing college-related stuff (ideally with "alumni" on it). It prompts some respect even if I'm not really put together. I'm white & don't have to deal w/ racism, but maybe it could help w/ other biases? & it can work w/your athletic gear idea
@cydharrell I will also caution her to be careful with TV shows depending on her self control. Using TV for escapism is fine until you've watched 2 seasons of a show in 5 days and haven't done much of anything for the assignment that's due at midnight. (Freshman yr was not fun for me.)
@cydharrell comfort tv: New Girl, Frasier, Seinfeld, Golden Girls
Even if she's not into soccer or celebrities, she might still enjoy Welcome to Wrexham. It was so, so well done. A film major might appreciate how it was put together. Seriously - amazing editing.
@AdultingADHD I think this is why some people think we can "grow out of it." People who were diagnosed earlier and developed really good habits are able to continue those habits more easily. They didn't grow out of it. They just got really good at managing it.
@ADHDdesigner Have you come across any legit and helpful support courses/coaching that you can share? I've lost so many of the skills that I had developed, and I need to learn some new strategies.
Asking the internet to consider donating their kidney to my daughter is very weird, but...she really, really needs a kidney.🙏
