Wrote something, not as consistent with this as I would like, but I am hoping that it does become a habit soon.
This one is on how I rarely win board games (reality is I rarely play any more), but found joy in playing for fun, which came with some unintended consequences.
Got to commend the city’s authorities for always watching out for us.
After covering 5 KMs in 2 hours on ORR, I was reminded that I should keep my speed in check by them.
@sidin If agents are writing into it, an MCP makes it elegant and easy. Hence, I have found Notion to be a pretty good choice. Also allows file creation in the right folder/workspace and understand version history etc. You can then create skills, schedules etc as well easily.
CHAMPIONS !
Took almost an entire lifetime of supporting the club to celebrate this very special moment.
So happy for all the players, and of course Super Mikel Arteta. I can’t wait for the endless celebrations!
Group hug to every gooner who has lived this journey.
Till a while ago, all the random jokes at home about "I could build an app for that" were just that. Now, most folks at home know that I will actually tinker away and give them something to play with if they share a thought with me (after being gifted with a nephew, I am thinking of a Shazam for babies next :D). They may never see light of day, but just the conversation around home and the process of building is the high!
Unlike others who started with Productivity hacks and Claude code tutorials at work, I started off with Lovable to experience the joy of building with AI and then took some of that to work.
I will bore you all soon by sharing my excitement about RevOps and how much joy I get by looking at agents typing away on my screen, helping me build workflows to connect the dots at work without any help from engineers or data analysts (I know, my life is pretty sad!).
But for now, I would love to hear from anybody who tries out MeepleVerse.
P.S:
If any of you want a sneak peek into my other half baked side quests, DM me :).
Despite a topsy turvy Arsenal season, some super exciting Malayalam movies and a lot of fun travel plans, my feed has been dead and I have been missing from here. Trying my luck once to change that.
I have been building projects for fun on the side with AI. No points for guessing that I went straight to board games when I got my first shot at this.
Meet Meepleverse : A place to discover board games, learn about them, plan game nights with friends, and track your gaming history. Was super fun to think of different components like gamifying user profiles with badges, creating game night invites and of course just basic things like game ingestion through APIs.
I put down money for @Lovable almost a year ago during my first tinkering session, thought I was near the end of my first project, realized I was so far later. Kept tinkering, kept making errors, kept running away when work (or vacations) came calling. Lovable kept getting better and so did I. Finally decided that I should put whatever version is that I have out there.
This is the most complete thing I've shipped for fun. Would love for some of you to give it a try. Here is an invite link as well, please be kind :).

Despite my fears in front of the camera, I made a small walkthrough video as well.

Meepleverse isn't the only thing I've been building.
Tried my luck with a few other such fun quirky and fun projects at home:
1. PantryPal : A way to keep up with your pantry by scanning your shopping bag and see your pantry categorized neatly on your phone. Reminds you of when you stocked what, when things expire and the unhealthy stuff you maybe eating unknowingly. Also, restock by clicking and adding stuff to your cart on your favourite quick commerce app. Invite others from your household and so on.
2. MealMatch: A tinder like experience for households with wildly different food preferences. Run a poll to track food preferences over time, know what's popular in the household and rally others to get your favourite food on your plate. Started because I heard from a mother that she could no longer track what her child likes/dislikes :D .
All just fun projects, nothing serious, nothing monetized. Just because I can finally build all the weird things I could think of!
The cost and accessibility may make you think twice. But, the country is super friendly, easy to drive around and truly magical. We planned and executed this itinerary ourselves :).
More photos/spam/videos on IG, a reel from The Shire for LOTR buffs.

Spent the last 2 weeks in Middle Earth aka New Zealand. Amazing country that gives you a taste of natural beauty and memorable experiences. We drove 3700 KMs over 12 days across both islands to marvel at nature and get up close with unique wildlife (Penguins, Albatross, Whales!)
Was special to see the effort that communities are making to preserve safe living spaces for species that are slowly finding it difficult to co-habit the planet. We saw Kiwis, Penguin nests (2 different types), Giant Albatross nests and Whales, besides dolphins putting on a show
@arindam___paul Don't know whether he would call himself a "performance marketing guy", but tagging @bbharadwaj in case the two of you haven't connected, can strongly vouch for the other parts of your question :). Pretty sure there is going to be enough notes to be exchanged.
Urging & insisting fellow Malayalees to watch #Lokah before spoilers ruin it. The hype you may hear is real, you should be excited to watch it on a big screen.
A well made fantasy movie built on a world rooted in Kerala. Already my favourite cinematic universe.
Once again, I am going to let 11 guys on a football pitch ruin my weekends.
New season, new colours and we wait to see whether it is the same Arsenal or a new one this time around. #COYG
