Everyone and their mom had a 20 minute conversation with Mitch McConnell today. So many 20 minute conversations it has officially been a 25 hour long day.
History made!
Now that is what you call a filibuster.
Even on his death bed Mitch McConnell and the Senate GOP won’t terminate the filibuster to pass the Save America Act.
I just got off the phone with Mitch McConnell. We spoke for nearly 20 minutes about why the GOP is full of cowards who refuse to pass the Save America Act. I asked him why his wife flew to China after he was given CPR and found unconscious. We spoke about how his spirit animal is a turtle and the meaning behind his wife’s name “CoCo Chao”. We laughed and talked about how thanks to his feckless leadership for decades, Muslims and communists are now taking over America. He was in good spirits and laughing when I asked him if he was happy his proposed SCOTUS nominee Amy Coney Barrett just made our country a dumping ground for every third world, pregnant illegal alien. I made sure he knew we would make sure his tombstone says, “Fucking Trump and America everyday. A long life lived with no regrets or remorse.”
His funeral will be like every other day in America. Maybe some GOP senators will carry his casket to his grave so they can “let Mitch down” the way he has let our country and Donald Trump down every single day of his life.
I told him we know he won’t be coming back to work.
The US Navy holds a special 50,000 acre forest of white oak under their care for the express purpose of growing oak wood to handle repairs of these old ships.
The most stunningly successful thing about the American experiment is that in the late 1700s, the thirteen colonies were hardly valuable at all.
They had no known great natural resources, they were far from a jewel in the crown of the British Empire.
The British were far more desperate to keep the profitable sugar islands than the thirteen colonies. That’s why upon the entry of the French to the war, peace was sought soon - and the priority was to keep the profitable Caribbean and control of the seas.
In seeking peace, Britain was thinking with its treasury not its heart. War is expensive. And while losing the thirteen colonies was embarrassing, it was not the kind of hit to the British economy that losing other colonies would have represented.
In stark contrast to the relatively barren North America, the Spanish Empire in South America had vast obvious natural resources. Spain extracted gold. But it never built anything to last.
The United States of America proved what far too many countries are yet to understand today.
The wealth of a nation is not in its natural resources. It is not fixed. The world is not zero sum.
America became the wealthiest country on the face of the planet, not thanks to its soil - but thanks to the men who stood on it.
The institutions they built - the English liberties they codified - created the basis for a stable, prosperous, market economy. Freedom under law.
It’s thanks to the systems of government the founders built that the United States became what it is today.
Were any other group of people - with any other ideas about how a society should be structured - to settle that land, America would be like any other country today.
But it isn’t. And that’s thanks to the enlightened ideas of its founding.
Happy Treason Day, cousins. 🇬🇧🇺🇸
Indians will single-handedly be the reason Costco & Sam’s finally restrict their return policy.
Indian woman explains the full scam for her people:
‘In America, everyone does this. You can take and use any item for your parties, then return it. No questions asked.’
This exploiting the host mentality is why prices keep rising for everyone else.
St. Louis Park, Minnesota Mayor Nadia Mohamed, who was born in Somalia, just arrived in Somalia to a massive royal welcome.
She said “America is losing its Americaness” because Somalis are afraid after fraud and ICE crackdowns
So why doesn’t she just stay in Somalia??
Costco before 10am is indescribable. Executive membership line a neat queue of white people. The line for the rest of the cretins who are not permitted entry until 10am was some sort of USAID Mogadishu Kashmir emergency airlift. Hordes of third worlders clamoring to enter. I’m seeing skull shapes never before documented. Groups of 8+. Completely despicable. There should be a constant ICE presence at every Costco in America. What are we doing man
This is Lampedusa, Italy's southernmost island, after African migrants arrived from Tunisia and Libya aboard small boats. Around 7,000 migrants arrived within 48 hours, while nearly 12,000 reached the island over a four-day period.
The native population of the island is just over 6,000 people.
Foreign affairs must be put on hold until the enemy within has been defeated. It’s just that simple. We have revolutionaries operating in the open and they must be stopped. If they are not, millions of people will die. Those are the stakes of this game.
Did you know that John Thune, the LEADER of the Senate, has a wife AND a daughter who are Democrats?
The only reason he SAYS he's a republican is to get elected in South Dakota.
He's really a Democrat too.
The GOP needs to pull it's heads outta it's asses and REMOVE HIM.
.@StephenM: "We have people from all over the world from Third World nations; nations that, on their own, would've never invented the wheel, let alone modern technology...and they can just come into the country, have a baby at a hospital paid for by you and me, and then that baby's automatically a citizen?... Citizenship means NOTHING if it is open to everyone."
In 1967 this was the world's tallest statue.
The Motherland Calls is a colossal WWII memorial in Volgograd, Russia, on the hill of Mamayev Kurgan — the site of the Battle of Stalingrad.
🚨 NOW: President Trump is getting increasingly PISSED OFF that Leader Thune REFUSES to fire the Obama/Reid Senate parliamentarian, who is blocking key legislation
"The leader has the right to FIRE the [parliamentarian] at will and put somebody else there... we get SO MANY negative rulings from her."
"She's been there for YEARS, and she was put there by Harry Reid and Barack Hussein Obama."
"It's not even BELIEVABLE that she's still there."
Thomas Paine publishes an open letter in the Pennsylvania Evening Post, under the name “Republicus,” which advocates for the name “United States of America” for the new nation now emerging.
This is the first time such a term has been used.
