Tales from a canine-loving, half-century-surviving owner of a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog in London.

A No Deal Brexit would be a disaster for our economy and our NHS. I'm telling the government to say #No2NoDeal. Join me! https://t.co/LkgUmafqyR via @euromove

@Michaelkcfan @TWIT_ANTHONY @realDonaldTrump @MayorBowser Nah. If a joke not funny because nobody can tell it’s a joke and Trump supporters will herald him as one of their own.

This is Fred. He was stolen and found dead by the side of a road wrapped in four black bags. Our thoughts are with his devastated family 💔 Another innocent life cruelly taken by #PetTheft. This must stop! Please SIGN & RT to help change the law @P_Wicks01 https://t.co/dcSdis0R3r

“What do you mean, my bum looks big in this?” Put these dogs on a diet.

[Lola @madolddoglady]

Oi @waitrose do I look like a cat? #marketingfail

[Lola @madolddoglady]

Waiting for the vet is so tiring. #rhodesianridgeback at rest.

[Lola @madolddoglady]

If footage surfaces of a Benny-Hill-style chase involving a woman screaming "LEAVE IT!" like a banshee and an over-excited #RhodesianRidgeback (who's no intention of LEAVING the stillborn fawn it's found and is frantically trying to gobble whole), it wasn't me & it didn't happen.

We have 100 days to get 42,700 signatures. In this time over 500 dogs will be recorded as stolen for irresponsible breeding in horrific conditions, dog baiting, dog fighting, as well as for selling on and ransom. PLEASE HELP us help them @rickygervais RT https://t.co/jCxZRn9tOj

[Lola @madolddoglady]

@SREVELAINARCAD1 @Doggletoggle1 When this is so easily available from #Argos there really is no excuse! https://t.co/avTGcp8FM7

[Beverley Cuddy (Smith) @beverleycuddy]

Well done, dogs are so much more than property. The law needs to reflect they are part of our families. If you’ve not signed the pet theft petition, please do it now, https://t.co/QmJzofbnQR

Absolute farce that scanning isn’t compulsory when microchips are. https://t.co/Mn36ac8tNP

[Dr Daniel Allen @Dr_Dan_1]

Imagine the unimaginable - your dog is stolen 💔 Would you trust compulsory microchipping to reunite when scanning is optional?

The UK government must start taking #DogTheft seriously! PLEASE SIGN & RT to help change the law ✒️ https://t.co/jCxZRn9tOj @ChrisGPackham @phil500

Another dog theft. Please keep your eyes open for Peppa - a young French Bulldog. https://t.co/FA1Z8dq2zf

[Dr Daniel Allen @Dr_Dan_1]

Peppa was seen being taken by two boys - she was wearing the pink harness in the photo. Her family are devastated RT https://t.co/wQhMtX5FnS

[Dr Daniel Allen @Dr_Dan_1]

This is Betty. She was stolen, bred from, then dumped. Folk don’t steal dogs to love them -they use them, abuse them & treat them like disposable objects.

The UK must take #PetTheft seriously! PLEASE SIGN & RT to help change the law, @P_Wicks01 ✒️ https://t.co/jCxZRn9tOj
