Appalled by the customer service at @travelodge. I am having medical treatment at a day hospital for a month; as the hospital accommodation was full, I booked in with Travelodge. They required the whole month to be paid upfront, which I did.
On day 3, there were problems.

We’ve had to buy mobile data, but signal is erratic for this on our farm. But having to use that in order to get food delivered etc. One of us is also undergoing treatment for brain inflammation where consultations are online and with no WiFi we’re missing vital appointments. @EE

So disappointed with @EE. We’ve had no WiFi since the 10th. They gave us an appointment for the 19th to have an engineer out but today we had a phone call to say this has been cancelled. We’re still without internet; 3 of us are supposed to work full-time online and we can’t.

I’m self-employed and I can’t do my client work or send invoices. We are also shielding still due to the pandemic as 2 of us are vulnerable. Yet we’re supposed to go 10 days at least without internet, only to have the appointment for fixing it cancelled by them too? @EE

I always hate asking for help...but I have brain inflammation, and due to the pandemic, the NHS can no longer continue my investigations and treatment for the time-being. So I need to crowdfund so I can see a private doctor as my health is worsening.

Due to others panic buying, I cannot find any gluten-free bread, and I have coeliac disease. Is anyone in North/Mid Devon aware of shops that still have gluten-free bread?

(I know I could avoid bread completely, but I’m also underweight and on a strict meal plan right now.)

SCARS LIKE WINGS is an incredible YA contemporary story about a burn survivor. It’s beautifully written, with a great commentary on disability, and I just couldn’t read it fast enough. @Erin_N_Stewart @simonkids_UK
