83-year-old Johannes Mosehla from Sekhukhune, Limpopo, has broken his own record of being the oldest Comrades Marathon finisher after completing the 89.98km #ComradesMarathon2025 from Pietermaritzburg to Durban at 11:47:27 on Sunday.
In 2023, Mosehla broke the record held by Wally Hayward, who finished the Comrades Marathon at 80 in 1989. In 2024, Mosehla completed the race at the age of 82. This was his 12th since his first attempt at age 63.

Botswana opened an electric vehicle (EV) assembly plant in Gaborone in 2024.
The semi-automated plant has the capacity to produce three vehicles daily.
Three electric buses and SUVs were assembled at the factory in October.
Mali is set to establish its national gold refinery in partnership with Russian company, Yadran.
The refinery will process 200 tons of gold per year.
Mali will own a 62% stake in the refinery.
Uganda has exported 500 tonnes of powdered milk to Algeria.
In March 2023, Uganda signed a $500 million deal signed with Algeria to export 2,100 metric tonnes of powdered milk to Algeria.
