@DarkNemo Playrix (homescapes, fishdom) uses these ads to catch new players at low cost. Since these ads are performing well and because players have been fooled, they've created mini-games based on the ads for their own games. Since then, many developers create games from the ads.
@alexandre_dewez Nice essay, one mistake: Helix Jump was made by h8games and published by Voodoo. It was one of the first huge success for a partnership between a little studio and Voodoo. The first one was Snake VS Block with a french developer.
