The deeper signal: a Secretary of War who actively re-opens the door for men the previous DOD treated as medically discharged and done. Hegseth flipped the assumption — 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫.
