Crazy thought: @michaelrosenbum interviewing @Chris_Stuckmann on @insideofyoupod when Shelby Oak comes out. Both love horror movies and it would a great introspection/reflection into film directorial debut.
@VadimYuryev This just further confirm my previous comment to you. The strategy is to attract gamers (boost arcade / Apple services revenue even more) and position the ecosystem as a strong platform to advance AR/VR when Visio pro (v3) is out. Apple must bring this C/GPU into Apple TV 8K.
@VadimYuryev … an Apple TV with Ray tracing GPU. That could be a serious competitor to Sony, X-Box or Nintendo if suddenly, all AAA games arrive on it. Apple plays always the long game. But the pundits only see the short term from their announcement.
@VadimYuryev Take a sec and think long term strategy. Apple has invested in its GPU to stimulate its services division: games, high GPU aps and soon AR/VR apps on Vision Pro. They will generate…
@VadimYuryev …more revenue with a better GPU than a better a better CPU. Perception and Marketing will fill the gap and the pay off will show up in 6-8months: Vision Pro with Ray Tracing, M3 with Ray Tracing. The killer would be….
@VadimYuryev They’re not willing, they simply can afford it without flinching. It’s all about market perception and sending a signal. Remember the first mobile 64bits chips? Took 3y for the compétition to catch up… same same here. It’s all about domination + control the industry narrative
@VadimYuryev What if they did that becaus they wanted to uplift the USB-C market and eco-system… until it was the right time to introduce the iPhone USB-C? This way, they’ve milked lighting rev as much as possible + prepare the ground for an iPhone hypercycle.
@VadimYuryev A minor “tic” upgrade, couple of colour, new WatchOS etc…. Not much… until…
The big “TOC” upgrade for the 10th anniversary, Apple Watch X with major redesign.
Apple can play the time on the watch line up. They’ve already reveals a brand new product with the Vision pro.
@VadimYuryev Even if Nuvia had such processor, they wouldn’t be able to manufacturer in mass due to Apple heavily taking nearly the entire 3nm production…. So, it is dead before birth….
@jasonkneen You’re right but also ahead of your time. The tech to enable a Vision Pro experience into normal size glasses form factor is still in lab and not ready for mass market. That being said, (we both know it), Apple products always reach their maturity point at their 3rd iteration.
@insideofyoupod Indeed an awesome episode!
In the same trend, it would great to get @KateBeckinsale on the podcast! Her movie JOLT reminded me a bit of BOSS LEVEL.
@JamesGunn On top of that, and to differentiate from the “polished @MarvelStudios style/recipe”, it would be awesome to stick with a realistic/grit tone of voice. The last Batman from @mattreevesLA is a great testament of that. Please, give us some more of that.
@JamesGunn I’m glad you’re rebooting DCU. It was long overdue and the coherence and style was lost at every movies and series produce along the way. It’s Time to truly create a real/connected universe where every character are well balanced and true to the origin material.
