Congratulations to @DrJillStein@GreenPartyUS and all who refused to do the one thing in their power that could have prevented this.
You knew that your privilege protects you and that only ordinary vulnerable marginalized people would suffer any consequence.
You own this.
NEWS: Last night, DHS detained a Palestinian who helped lead Columbia encampment.
Agents told him his visa was revoked. He said he had a green card. They were confused—then said that was revoked too.
His attorney demanded a warrant. Agents hung up instead.https://t.co/4t2RByUI1x
@matthewstoller When you talk about Platner and the oligarchs, do you mean the ones he met last month in Silicon Valley at the secret fundraiser with Ro Khanna? Politico says Platner was "a hit among the donors".

@monstroustomato@SireRottweiler You're addicted to inverting reality.
/some/ Christians choose to support AIPAC; it does not follow that all (or even any) Zionists support Christian fundamentalists - that's nonsense.
@SireRottweiler voted for Kamala Harris. So did I.
Your accusation is baseless.
Now, as someone who is a huge proponent of self-determination for all the obvious reasons, it is remarkable that the man with a TOTENKOPF tattoo doesn't feel self-determination should be applied universally. You can scroll to his Gaza policy to see why he feels that way.
I decided to go through Graham's website, policy by policy. What I find most curious: Platner supports self-determination for Indigenous people, but only for a specific group of Indigenous people he deems worthy of having self-determination (Native Americans). The rest - well.
Figures like Platner are quite Nazi-like: they are populists, chameleons, people project on to them what they want them to be, and hand waive who they really are. But Platner shares key qualities that made Nazis so successful: appeal to men who are militaristic, hostility to women and femininity, conspiratorial thinking about the power of Jewish money, and anti-establishment vibes that can be interpreted any way that the audience finds most appealing to their own biases. I'm sorry, but that is what Nazism is. That is what it always has been: populist stupidity and a hostility to a convenient other that is thwarting utopia, especially when they point out what a prick you are.
