2A WIN: $0 NFA tax = ZERO NFA registration!

Last year, I wrote and fought for a provision in the One Big Beautiful Bill to ZERO OUT NFA taxes on suppressors and short-barreled firearms.

It was my intent to also eliminate the NFA registration of these firearms, as the taxation and registration requirements are inextricably linked.

For months, I’ve fought to ensure this congressional intent was understood by the courts and adopted by the DOJ.

Today’s court ruling finally did just that by declaring NFA registration for $0 NFA tax firearms as unconstitutional.

This is a historic win—one that gun owners have fought to achieve since the NFA was enacted 92 years ago.

But our work is far from over.

We must both defend this ruling and build on its success in order to fully restore our 2A liberties from the draconian NFA.
