@feelingsplain There are ways to deal with it, regulations when owning the breed and licences on breeders/owners that doesn’t involve the good owners/dogs having to suffer. We need more understanding of what banning a breed actually means and find a better way to deal with it.

@feelingsplain Its not just about that either though. Do you have any idea what happens when a dog breed get banned? Every dog of this breed gets taken from its owner and put into a scary unfamiliar situation and is most likely going to be put down.

@KayJaySimmons @mariaalcoptia If they can call in the armed police - why not call in the dog handlers who can actually understand and control an animal. Funny that.

@KayJaySimmons @mariaalcoptia How can you possibly even justify lethal force on a dog who’s done nothing wrong? If those police understood a single thing about dog behaviour they’d know that dog was just terrified. There was many other options available to control it but they didn’t they let it go and shot it

@KayJaySimmons @mariaalcoptia Would they use that force on another human if they didn’t understand their behaviour? No. What about another type of animal? Again probably wouldn’t shoot a horse for being terrified. The use of force here was totally unjustified and unnecessary.
