Our very own @DrSteveSimpson was the Series Scientific Advisor on new @netflix documentary #OurOceans - out today! 🌊
This epic journey, narrated by @BarackObama, tells the stories beneath the surface of our five oceans and is not to be missed.🐬🐙

I loved @mrraybarnett ‘s talk at @mshedbristol yesterday ! Amazing to see how Bristol has changed over time, and how insects have shifted alongside it. Who knew that there was a huge quarry on durdham downs ?? Certainly not me ! 🐜🚜
Working with @RoyEntSoc and @seed_ball doing outreach and engagement with insects and kids was a dream come true ! So many kids are put off by parent/teacher reactions to ‘creepy crawlies’ - it was great to try and change this.
Thank you Tony @MuseumLiverpool for taking me round the collection ! Really interesting to see collections linked with forensic entomology through the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine 🏥🪰

@insectweek One of my entries into the @RoyEntSoc ‘s #insectweek photography competition. I love how the beads of water resemble the pearls this Lep is named after. 🦋 (Protogoniomorpha
