@AlanBuck_DG@theDGFanatic You can have a bad round and still win by 1. Goose turned a blind eye to violations for 88 holes and waited till one hole was left to nitpick a foot placement that almost every other pro said they wouldn’t have called.
@Crunchy_DG@goodbradbadbrad@BogeyObi My asterisk to that is it wasn’t seconded by another player. It’s impossible to fairly enforce the rules if others get to play without officials. PDGA needs to put one on every card or none at all and require 2 players to make the calls.
@Crunchy_DG@goodbradbadbrad@BogeyObi The foot fault call is irrelevant to me. It’s the lack of consistency, timing, and potential motive of the 11th hour call coming from a “big rules guy” that make it sus. Big Rules Guy didn’t see a single violation for 5 days until the very end of final round?
@MunsonLancaster@Brodiesmith21 Ya why didn’t Goose call Rainers on 15? Why didn’t he call Silas on 18 when he kicked his mini? Or on Hole 4 (Round 3) When Silas stepped on his disc during his putt? Odd he calls himself a big rules guy but waited till the end of the final round to show up.
@Brodiesmith21 How many broken rules did Aaron call on players over the course of 5 days? Why is the DGPT randomly selecting cards to put officials on while other cards get to play without them?
