I want to thank Communities in Schools, our Toppenish Police Department, Toppenish Fire Department, and Yakama Nation for their support in helping out students experience Blue Santa. The moment was priceless. #WeAreGreaterTogether
Yesterday, I was invited to a Yakima Rotary Club meeting. I shared my personal story and highlighted our fabulous district. I truly appreciate the opportunity to serve and build relationships with community partners. #WeAreGreaterTogether
@Serranosisters This was first boxing match I watched in over 10 years. It was a great fight. However you got robbed. You out boxed her and then the head butts. I am a new fan.
@ToronWooldridge Love how you are making connections with all stakeholders in our community for our kids. I am glad to have you on board. Can’t wait to work with you in a couple of weeks.
One thing I always reinforce when talking with educators about STEM is that it’s not just activities & crafts.
STEM learning needs links to content & curriculum to maximize its potential in your classroom.
A lot of the items we are requesting are on sale for Amazon Prime Days so please check out my list and consider supporting some amazing students:

As I start my 2nd year teaching at CATS High School, the alternative high school in Toppenish I am asking you to consider supporting setting up my classroom with supplies, top ramen and water flavoring to get us started.
@AngelWilson36@ToronWooldridge@Secondary_AISD I am glad to have Toron come to our district in Toppenish. He is down to earth and the first thing he does when he gets to the schools is go straight to the kids and asks about their school. I can’t wait to learn from him. God knew what we needed and that was Toron.
@alicekeeler I do this all the time. It works out great. Also if you have a reflection form filled out weekly, you can unlink form, then link to the same spreadsheet and it creates the new tab. This is great for looking at data over time.
One of my favorite questions to ask when starting any assessment work with a group:
If someone took away your ability to average scores over time to calculate a final grade, what would you do?
