@VictoriaTheTech Yeah, and sometimes it’s just miss marked measurements…
A fellow teacher ended up on the news in South Korea when his military convoy got a transport vehicle stuck under a bridge in rush-hour traffic.
Anyone have this balancing game in their classroom or at home?
Thinking this would be fun for students to design & 3d print & give to elementary classrooms
@0Beanie05923291 One of the best opportunities for helping kids learn love of country is the JROTC program in schools.
I’ve seen its effectiveness, especially when they put together Veterans Day & other all-school assemblies and invite the community
So impressive watching the @usairforce ROTC perform at #VeteransDay ceremony at our school...
(and as a #math teacher, the symmetry & wave action is equally impressive)
@DanShuster I didn’t get the name of it when I visited that school (I was too busy enjoying it with the kids) but it looks like this https://t.co/INO53CCYC4
@caroljsroth@elonmusk I showed my high school math & STEM students the flying car video and reminded them everything they’re learning allows them to create things like Elon Musk & his team.
But they have to do the hard work to have those opportunities.
@MonteSyrie I love to stop in another classroom in our school & just sit down and listen for a while. I’ll even do whatever assignment the students are doing.
It helps me think through my own teaching & I usually get good ideas to do in my own class.
My son put down his iPad at 10am and didn't ask for it back until dinner.
Not because I told him to. Because he was too busy designing a railway that climbed across our entire coffee table.

@alicekeeler I do this too…and encourage other teachers at my school to do the same.
There’s so many websites we have to use as teachers, it saves time using those bookmark bar links!
