BREAKING NEWS Nigerian Air Force Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing in Makurdi
Today, 7th October, 2026, my community of Utur Tse-Igboji, Bar Council Ward, Makurdi along Welfare Quarters to Mopol 13 Ring Road, almost witnessed a tragedy.
By the grace of God, all lives on board were saved when a Nigerian Air Force helicopter made an emergency landing on our farmland due to a technical fault.
We all rushed to the scene to support the officers on board, and to the glory of God, they all came out alive. It would have been a double tragedy if the helicopter had crashed.
We thank God for sparing their lives.
Reporting live from the scene.May God protect our security officers.

@mfautoconsult@TojuWes Acting smart for X likes & impressions ?? 🤣🤣 … if you had a brain you would know that I referenced the P-3 Orion for its maritime surveillance capabilities as well as the fact that it’s still a turboprop like the ATR-42. Seating capacity has nothing to do with this.
A routine flight to Lagos turned into an emergency after a Nigerian military aircraft carrying 32 people crashed in the country’s south.
The Nigerian Air Force ATR-42 was carrying 25 passengers and seven crew members when it crashed in the Igbokoda area of Ondo State while heading to Lagos.
Authorities launched an immediate search-and-rescue operation after the crash. The wreckage has reportedly been located, but there is no official word yet on casualties or survivors.
