@My_Bothan Why a general election? We, the voting public, don’t vote for prime ministers. We vote for our local MP. The party members vote for the leader. We have never voted for a Prime Minister so why would we start now?

@goldanboy43 @Jarster2608 @simonharris_mbd I rented a house for 12 years, paying many thousands of pounds in rent. When I moved I received my £750 deposit back. My friend bought her house and after 7 years walked away with £150000 profit in the bank. Enough for a deposit on another house and a very healthy bank balance

@RiosNighean @katebevan Depends what you want in life. I thought I couldn’t afford to retire but was forced to 7 years ago. I’m on state pension, no private pension, but I manage fine. I’m always busy and do lots of cheap or free things with a group of friends. I’m loving retirement. Priorities change

Flocked to packed beaches? Held mass environment protests? Sometimes we just need to take some responsibility for ourselves
