I've just heard the Damian Bennett aka DJ Sure Delight has passed away. Damian was the DJ at The Marvel nights in Norwich and one of the nicest guys I ever had the pleasure to know. Whether at his club nights, in the band Def Tex or working in Dogfish. A true Norwich legend.

@BethnalYG I bumped into him at a record fair a few months ago and he was as lovely as ever. Kind, friendly and full of humour. Impeccable music taste as well. Spent many nights at Marvel and other venues where he played. I'm going to dig out my old def tex records and think of him.

@redrumlisa Lakenham lido in norwich. On a hot day was absolutely rammed with people from the surrounding lakenham and tuckswood estates. Many happy afternoons spent there as a lad with my mates. Closed down in the mid 1980's i believe.
