UPDATE: Elon Musk has confirmed Starmind as the name of SpaceX's future AI satellite constellation.

Unlike Starlink, which moves data around the world, Starmind is designed to process AI workloads directly in orbit and beam the results back to Earth.

The first AI1 test satellites are currently targeted for launch in early 2027.

SpaceX isn't just building the internet in space. It may soon be building AI infrastructure in space too.
