Last week's clean-up showed what we can achieve when we work together. But the real challenge begins after the clean-up.

A clean-up is a moment. Responsible waste management is a habit.

This #WasteNotWednesday, let's keep the momentum going.

Clean-ups remove the waste. Responsible waste management prevents it from coming back.

Every day, we can make choices that reduce the amount of waste ending up in our streets, drains & dumpsites.

“Progress isn’t about giant leaps, it’s about showing up.”

Every small action counts. Whether it’s picking up a piece of litter, planting a tree, or educating a neighbour — consistent action creates change.

Small steps. Consistent action. Bigger impact. #MondayMotivation

Yesterday's clean-up exercise in New Luveve was a great success. While we celebrate this achievement, we are concerned by the noticeable increase in illegal dumping compared to our previous visit, highlighting the need for greater accountability. @CityofBulawayo

Below are empty boxes of Benylin with Codeine that were recovered this morning from a dumpsite in the Mafakela area. Such quantities are clearly not consistent with normal medicinal use & point to the growing challenge of substance abuse within our communities.
