@RCouhig@ToddTrosclair make this make sense. - A man, who cannot physically walk due to end of life care living with motor neurone disease can buy a season ticket but can’t get a disabled parking space? @mndassoc
🦉 We stand in solidarity with Sheffield Wednesday fans amid the deepening crisis under Dejphon Chansiri:
* staff and players paid late for May with some players still unpaid. Uncertain when June salaries will be paid.
* players able break their contracts under just cause if June salaries are not received today.
* HMRC remains unpaid, with the club currently under embargo for defaults and under transfer restrictions until January 2027.
* staff out of contract, with Manager Danny Röhl's future uncertain. Rumours of other staff on the verge of walking out.
* ongoing concerns over the safety of Hillsborough.
* training ground not ready for use in pre-season
* only one pre-season fixture arranged.
* ongoing concerns over whether the owner will genuinely consider sensible offers.
Sheffield Wednesday is a great club and we were thankful for all of their support during our own ownership crisis.
From Reading to Hillsborough: we’re with you. 💙🤍 #SWFC
🤡👮♀️OFFICIAL UPDATE FROM FUN POLICE 🤡👮
To avoid any confusion, we reached out to the EFL and FA for clarification re: pitch invasions.
1. There IS a chance of getting a points deduction for invading the pitch.
2. There IS a chance of getting a criminal record.
3. There IS a guarantee that invading the pitch for anything other than promotion, avoiding relegation or protests against tyrannical owners is embarrassing.
Taking all of the above into account, please don’t invade the pitch - whatever the result - on Saturday.
We don’t want to lose points, get arrested…or be cringe. #readingfc

I’m glad that supporters groups @SellBeforeWeDai and @STARReading have joined me in calling for a parliamentary inquiry into #readingfc's absent owner, Dai Yongge. (1/4)
There are too many sets of fans to thank for us to list them individually.
But thank you to the football community for coming together to help us 🔵⚪️

Calling all football fans to sign the petition for a Parliamentary Inquiry into the ownership at #ReadingFC.
This goes beyond just Reading, influencing future football governance.
Seems we're now over 7,500, not including the paper signatures.

We’ve launched a petition with @YuanfenYang calling for an inquiry into #readingfc’s absent owners.
We hope an inquiry into the Dais could be the catalyst for further inquiries into the likes of #UTS, #stfc and #rovers.
Let’s get it started. Sign here 👉🏻 https://t.co/0U9qcChMqz
Silence on the sale of #ReadingFC has gone on for too long, with reports the club only has funds until mid-November.
Not only have we renewed calls for the club to communicate with fans, we've given them a helping hand with an example of a meaningful update (one which we think is NDA compliant).
It shouldn't be this hard. #sellbeforewedai

While no sanction from the FA should be welcomed, we are grateful that the independent committee heard our mitigating arguments and believe the punishment reflects this.
Our view was that both the actions of the club and the behaviour of both sets of fans ensured that a peaceful protest never descended into disorder. Given the emotional circumstances, this deserves acknowledgment and we were happy to see both the FA and independent committee appreciate this.
We hope this ruling now serves as a footnote to the end of a dark era in Reading’s history and are hopeful that a new brighter era, defined by fans and ownership working harmoniously together, is about to begin.
