GRANGE HILL: "Slip on the wet floor, did you?" Phil Redmond's hard-hitting school drama didn't pull its punches. In a 'they did things differently back then' scene from 1981, hard but fair P.E. teacher 'Bullet' Baxter doles out justice to a colleague who's been bullying kids.
@reece_dinsdale@michkeegan I was watching a recent one where Gail met her dad for the first time. She was absolutely hilarious. When on form their, and Emmerdales (don’t watch ‘Enders’) comedy is awesome.
@JukeBoxNonStop Andy’s bass playing was always top drawer. Not in yer face showy offy (apart from Barbarism obviously) but subtle, melodic and it always accompanied the song beautifully. God bless Andy, have a drink, smoke, hit or whatever for me.
@BeatlesArchive2 I’ve always wondered what happened to Stu’s Hofner. Did he keep it? Astrid keep it? I’d like to think he gave it to Klaus (seeing he nicked his girlfriend).
@BeatlemaniaUK As much as I love the band I always thought she was too good for paul. While I’m here, I’m sure I read somewhere yonks ago that John initially told Yoko to try paul as he was the one more into avant guard at that point.
@Classicbritcom Swap Shop was way too middle class for me. Tizwas every time with all the other scum. I might turn over occasionally during the ad break, if I could be arsed to walk to the telly.
